Gemma Dimond (née Watts) is an Australian beauty, fashion and fragrance writer, content creator, presenter and MC, with more than a decade of experience across the media and beauty industries.
Since beginning her career in 2012, Gemma has worked across journalism, photography, presenting and event hosting, collaborating with leading beauty and fashion brands both locally and internationally. Her expertise in public speaking has seen her host events for MYER, Lancôme, Kiehl’s, Sunday Riley, Bondi Sands, Paula’s Choice, Armani Beauty and more.
Gemma has developed a distinctive editorial voice across beauty, skincare and fragrance, combining her industry experience with an informed, highly personal approach to storytelling. Her growing fragrance content explores scent through ritual, mood, memory and personal expression, bringing an accessible and entertaining perspective to the category.
A long-time beauty enthusiast, Gemma describes herself as an educated consumer rather than an expert, using her experience and curiosity to create considered, relatable content across skincare, makeup and fragrance. Her work is grounded in storytelling, with a particular ability to translate beauty and fragrance into engaging narratives that resonate with her audience.
Gemma is also the creator of Glow Journal, her beauty podcast and editorial platform, which takes a considered approach to beauty through interviews, reviews, commentary and creative storytelling.
Throughout her career, Gemma has worked across short and long-term brand partnerships and ambassadorships with leading names including MYER, Estée Lauder, L’Oréal Paris, Simone Pérèle, Paula’s Choice Skincare, La Roche-Posay, Tom Ford and Bobbi Brown, while continuing to contribute to print, digital and social platforms.
